The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), the independent public prosecution office of the European Union, is seeking applications for the position of Senior Legal Assistant.

As a Senior Legal Assistant and a member of the Operational Legal Support Sector within the Operations Unit, you will provide legal support to the Permanent Chambers and to the European Prosecutors as needed.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Drafting and presenting analyses, briefs, reports and correspondence on legal and operational issues referred for consideration;
Providing support in the management of specific projects, including in the areas of case analysis, harmonization of internal processes and knowledge management;
Developing operational processes in support of the functioning of the EPPO;
Monitoring and analyzing relevant case law, drafting and presenting case notes;
Preparing analyses on the application and interpretation of the EPPO's legal framework as well as other applicable legal provisions of Union law;
Providing legal and operational support on administrative issues and procedures;
Performing any other related tasks in the interest of the service.
