For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Food Regulatory Counsel.
You will support raw materials compliance by analyzing - on global markets of Ferrero’s interest - local legislation and identifying the necessary requirements and constraints. You will support the implementation of the regulatory strategy defined at the Group level and help update and manage internal raw material requirements.
Additionally, you will provide advice on these food regulatory matters to various departments, including Strategic R&D, and contribute to cross-functional working groups to find solutions and enhance internal workflows.
You will monitor global and local food regulatory frameworks, utilizing reliable sources. Your role involves collecting and retaining relevant legal texts, articles, opinions, and materials to support the food regulatory function. You will also engage with external consultants for opinions or guidance on specific regulatory issues.
You will design and present regulatory analytical reports based on the needs and requests of technical departments and support internal stakeholders to assess compliance. You will contribute to spreading awareness of food regulatory compliance across the Group, support risk assessments, and help manage suppliers’ administrative processes.
You bring your Law degree, with a preference for expertise in food laws, along with 5-7 years of proven experience in food legislation and regulatory matters. Ideally, this experience comes from working within the FMCG industry in categories such as confectionery, biscuits, protein snacks, and ice cream, as well as with exposure to plant-based foods.
You are fluent in English, eager to learn and comfortable in a multicultural environment. You demonstrate strong legal accuracy, a proactive team player attitude, good time management skills and the ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships.
