Wildgen strengthens Banking & Finance activities with the appointment of Michael Mbayi as new Director

Wildgen, an independent business law firm in Luxembourg, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Mbayi as Director to its Banking & Finance Practice Group. Through this recruitment, Wildgen demonstrates its willingness to expand its services and strengthen its position in this sector.

Michel Bulach, Partner in charge of the department, comments, “Michael Mbayi has previously been part of our teams and we are delighted with his decision to join our firm again. In addition to his involvement in our financing advisory activities, Michael will structure and develop the services we offer to local and international financial institutions in the context of bank loans granted to investment funds (fund finance). Michael will also assist the firm in developing its growing capital markets practice. Michael is a seasoned lawyer and we are delighted that he back to using his expertise in the service of our clients.

Lawyer Michael Mbayi, a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2007, started his career at Wildgen in 2006 before joining Clifford Chance in 2011. A graduate of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, he also obtained an LLM in commercial and corporate law at the University of London (Queen Mary and UCL), as well as a certificate in negotiation at the Faculty of Law of the University of Havard.
