About the role...

Reporting to the Committee’s President, you will carry out the following legal and administrative tasks:

  • Processing, verifying, preparing, and monitoring appeal files in compliance with the legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Drafting decisions and official correspondence, and preparing meeting minutes
  • Conducting legal research
  • Filing and archiving processed cases
  • Coordinating the Committee’s activities with the President, as well as training and supporting its members
  • Acting as an interface with stakeholders involved in appeals, including students, the rectorate, course directors, and/or other university departments, particularly the Student Department
  • Serving as the point of contact for the University community on matters related to the committee
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes linked to the Committee’s activities
  • Handling occasional administrative tasks (e.g., organizing meetings)
  • Performing any other task assigned by the President

Your profile...

  • Master’s degree in law or equivalent professional experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and spoken command of French and fluent English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German would be an asset
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); knowledge of legal research tools would be an advantage
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously, meeting deadlines
  • Rigorous, precise, and capable of collaborative teamwork
  • Diplomatic and discreet, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills in a multicultural environment
