With headquarters in Brussels and operations on several continents, Alco is one of the biggest producers and distributors of ethanol for fuel in Europe. Alco’s products contribute to a more sustainable way of living, for example: less fossil fuel and less greenhouse gas emissions from transport. Today, Alco produces fuel ethanol in the EU that has a carbon intensity that is almost 95% lower than gasoline. We also have production facilities in Canada, South Africa and Mauritius.

Alco believes that without firm commitments and clear solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we won’t achieve the goals we set for ourselves and the generations to come. Therefore, Alco develops sustainable solutions that add value to final customers in the food, industrial and energy sectors. Alco has a pioneering spirit: this is part of their identity and will continue to drive them in the next decades.
