Role & responsibilities
- Contribute to the application of national and European legislation in the context of the resolution of credit institutions, certain investment firms and central counterparties
- Represent the CSSF in international working groups, in particular with the Single Resolution Board (SRB)
- Contribute to the drafting of resolution plans and, where appropriate, represent the CSSF in internal resolution teams (IRT) operating within the framework of the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM) and/or in resolution colleges
- Draft analyses and answers to legal questions
Your profile
- Master’s degree in law (Bac + 4 or Bac + 5). The certificate of further training in Luxembourg law and the final examination for judicial traineeship (CCDL) or a doctorate in law would be considered as an advantage
- At least 5 years' professional experience in banking and/or financial law. Knowledge of legislation on bank liquidation and resolution would be an asset
- Excellent written and spoken English and French. Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an asset
- Excellent writing skills
- Good command of the usual IT tools
- Team spirit and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel abroad on official business
The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
