What your future may hold

As an Associate Employment law at ALTIUS, you will:

  • Advise diverse Belgian and international clients on all aspects of employment law, with a focus on day-to-day HR support;
  • Handle complex legal issues and collaborate closely with (senior) colleagues and partners;
  • Be part of a supportive team with a very strong reputation, especially for handling cross border employment, service agreements, collective labour law, collective dismissals, the employment law consequences of the winding-up of companies and employment law litigation;
  • Have direct contact with clients, receive significant responsibility and take ownership.

Your skillset

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as an employment lawyer, ideally in a similar practice;
  • You hold a Belgian Master’s in Law. An LL.M. in Social Law is considered a plus;
  • Fluency in Dutch or French is essential, paired with an excellent proficiency in English and proficiency in the other national language, suitable for daily use in a business environment;
  • Excellent writing skills and a pragmatic and hands-on approach;
  • You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented;
  • You are not afraid to speak your mind, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and don’t always choose the more conventional path.
