The Tax team

Our Tax team currently consists of 7 lawyers and 1 Personal Assistant, and we are looking to expand the team with an Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience.

Your role

As an associate in our Tax practice, you will be involved in advisory work, and you will:

advise Belgian and international clients on tax issues
specialise in domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, capital markets, finance, private equity, funds, real estate, and incentive plans

But you will also be involved in:

Assisting clients in resolving tax disputes and investigations
Handling audits, dawn raids, and settlements
Representing clients in administrative controversies and tax litigation before Belgian and European courts

What we expect

We are looking for a bright associate who:

is Dutch-native with a good command of English and French
has excellent results at a Belgian university, an additional education in tax law, a study or experience in an Anglo-Saxon jurisdiction is considered a plus
has 2 to 5 years of experience in tax law
strong analytical, organisational, and editorial skills
thrives under tight deadlines
eager to learn, client-focused, and highly motivated.

Start date: as soon as possible

Location: Brussels, with the option to also work from our Antwerp office.
